The Latest Meta Ads Updates
What a year for Metaโฆthey keep releasing updates almost every single week ๐คฏ
Here are some of the most relevant updates theyโve recently shared:
๐ง Meta is rolling out a new AI-powered feature that overlays 'Relevant text' onto AI-generated backgrounds for product images. Once the background is applied to your image, it may now also display text on top. You can opt in to test this new functionality under the 'Advertising settings' section.
๐ค You can now run partnership ads featuring a catalog. By using the 'Collection' format, you can create a partnership ad with an Advantage+ catalog ad setup.
๐ฆ Meta might suggest additional products from your catalog when selecting a specific product set for your campaign. You could see a checkbox to include other items, which can help improve ad performance. By enabling this, your selected products will be shown more often, and additional products may also be recommended to create a more personalized experience for your audience.
๐๏ธ The 'Image templates' feature is getting a name changeโitโs now called 'Overlays.' When activated within the Advantage+ Creative enhancements, Meta may automatically add text overlays to your ad visuals. You can customize fonts and colors to match your brandโs style.

๐ฏ Tested category-specific conversion campaigns (one is still running, with very strong results)
๐ค Developed an affiliate program that gave us new, quality UGC
TikTok:
๐ฌ Leveraged posts from creators with spark ads
๐ผ๏ธ During promotional periods, we used images turned into videos โ this was a huge surprise with how well they performed!
๐ Strong focus on remarketing engaged audiences within the platform (video viewers, engagers)
