TikTok Has Launched an Image Search Feature to TikTok Shop
A new TikTok feature aims to make its e-commerce functionality even more compelling.
Instead of using the search bar to find products, users can now take or upload a photo of an item, and the app will show similar products for consumers to purchase on TikTok Shop.

TikTok recently revealed that TT Shop now has more than 15 million sellers worldwide, including over 500,000 in the US.
So this is a great move to boost sales on TT Shop.
For now, this is available to users in the US and Southeast Asia.

The #1 Ad Channel For Successful DTC Brands
Many brands are looking for their next big ad channel.
Yet it's been right in front of them all along.
I've interviewed over 100 brands on The DTC Insider podcast.
And every time I ask 7 and 8-figure brands about their top-performing platform.
Their answer is ALWAYS the same: Meta.
What about TikTok, or TT Shop?
Sure, for some brands it might be working great.
But for most of those I speak with, it's not there yet.
In most cases, Meta typically represents 90% of their ad traffic and revenue.
Don't get me wrong...channel diversification is very important.
And it would be best if you were always looking for new ones.
However, keep in mind that it'll unlikely move the needle in the short term.
Thoughts?
TL;DR:
โ The no.1 channel for most brands I speak with is still Meta.
โ Channel diversification is great, but set proper expectations for what to expect in return.
โ Find ways to improve your results by improving the "after the click" experience (ie. LPs, offer).
