And asked him WHY they "made it" while most brands didn't.
Hint: it's a common pattern I've seen across successful brands.
Is it product?
➝ It's not.
➝ They sell apparel.
➝ While it's a great product, it's not the main factor.
Is it their Meta strategy?
➝ Nope.
➝ They doubled their business...
➝ ...4 years in a row without spending on ads.
Then, what is it?
➝ They cross the online-offline barrier.
➝ They don't hide behind their Shopify storefront.
How?
➝ They are involved in their community.
➝ Aligning their mission with their actions.
➝ They go beyond any other brand in their space.
If you own or work for a brand, don't hide behind your online storefront.
Instead, put your core values, mission, and vision into action and get involved with your community.
It's the difference between being seen as "an apparel brand" and "a valuable member of my community".

40% Growth YoY (Not Deserving It)
This brand achieved 40% growth YoY, 3 years in a row.
But, they don’t deserve it.
You see, many people on LinkedIn and X post about everything a brand needs to do to scale.
(And I’m guilty of that too!)
➝ Consistently testing a bunch of ad creatives
➝ Brand building that helps you stand out
➝ Founder-led content
➝ Whitelisting
➝ And more
However, this client is proof that none of that is needed.
They don’t:
❌ Have returning customers
❌ Have a large following
❌ Run many video ads
❌ Sell cheap products
❌ Go viral
So, why are they successful?
Because they:
✅ Have great product
✅ Engage with the community
✅ Have great growth partners (had to say it! 😅)
The bottom line is:
Don’t do everything you read online.
If you have great product…
AND truly care about your customers…
YOU.WILL.GROW.
Will you eventually reach a ceiling if you don’t do anything else?
Maybe.
But that’s a problem for tomorrow.
